Hi Darrell, What we did to our RZR is started off by cutting off the front end making it out of 1' x .095 round chromolly. Yes, it still has all the original pick up points. Then added 1 1/2 x .095 chromolly cage. Everything is gussetted and done where frame was weak. Custom aluminum floor, sides blown out to fit us, moved RAD, fuel cell to back. Car weighs 1404 with 1/2 tank of gas, ready to race. Jerome weighs 250, I weigh 200. Almost 1900 & we still do 67 on GPS! HPD Part List: Thanks,
Dear Darell & Sue, Well, its been about a 5 year long project so I thought that it was about time that I sent you a picture of my quad. It's a 1999 Polaris 250 Trailblazer that has HPD's Reed Conversion Kit installed. I can't tell you the number of people who can't believe that this is a modified 250 TB. It runs really strong from bottom to the top of its power band. My brother who has a 1999 Polaris 400 Sport that has for the most part a Trail Mod package installed can't believe that my 250 can run nose to nose with his in a 100 yard drag. You guys have always been great and very helpful with any problems
or quesions that I've had an I would like to THANK YOU. A satisfied HPD supporter,
TO EVERYONE AT HPD: My name is Todd
Olson. I own a 1997 Polaris 400 L Sport, that I have been drag racing
for three seasons now. Prior to this last Saturday's
race, I had run in three races in two years, and only won one heat
race. I almost gave up because I was running in two classes at each
race and had two practice runs at each that I never won against anything.
Well, needless
to say, I followed this gentleman's advice, and raced from 12:00
in the afternoon, ad did not get done until 8:30 PM. Which at every
other
race, I was eliminated by approximately 3:00 at the latest. I actually
took these guys to school with this thing. I tore up, among others
a decked out 400EX, a 450R with pipe and other things a Banshee
who actually has taken two 1st places, and a 2nd place in the seasons
I had ran, at this track, and I had guys coming up to me, who I'd
never
met, just all geeked up about what I had done. Now it would be
nice
to say that I took a 1st place, although I didn't. I got eliminated
in the finals by a nitrous injected Banshee, that the guy actually
travels all over the country to race, ad has never lost at this
track. But I have never raced with a tree light before, and my goal
was
to not red light. I was actually waiting until I seen green, to
go. Also,
I weigh roughly 200 lbs and as you know, these bikes are heavy,
especially considering that my machine is 4-wheel drive. Sincerely yours, Darrell, Thanks for all the support from everyone down your way. HPD, Have you ever seen
a priceless smile? Forever
grateful for your R&D, |

HPD, Thanks for all of the help. When I had ordered the frame, I never thought that I would have it in three days. When it arrived on Friday, everyone was excited to see it and immediately decided for me that it needed to be running for the following weekend. Well, after a few hours of twisting my arm, I caved. I spent saturday and sunday trying to make a parts list. I was really pushed to do this to outdo a new competitor in town. Monday, I ordered a lot of the parts and began taking all of my buddy's machines apart and try to make this happen. We made a lot of the stuff, which I am sure you know because you know what you've sent me. I never left the store till after 12 every night that week and friday night, we were there til 3. We fired it up at about 5 o'clock saturday, took a few spins around the parking lot, brought it back inside, went over everything again. Eight o'clock that night, Timmy, the one racing it, got on for the first time and made some passes around the parking lot. We loaded it up at ten, and the boys headed to the race track. We never would have had this machine running if it were not for the help from HPD, thanks again. We did well at the track, but had some troubles with the shock and rear brake lever. Well anyway's, we definitely got a lot of attention at the track and I hope to get a few more people hooked on automatics. I plan on doing a lot more business with you once I can convince people it's the way to go. Four years I talked to you about this, as I was racing a scrambler at the time, and told everyone that it would be unbeatable. Well now it has happened and once we get this machine dialed in, I am sure that more people will want them. Chris Higgins See a pic of Higgins machine in "Customer Rides" |

HPD, The bike seems to be hooking up well, even with only one rear tire grabbing for traction. I really enjoyed throwing dirt on my fellow racers this last year. It will remain in my memory forever. You should have seen their faces when we backed it out of the trailer and pulled it into staging. They knew they were beat before we even pulled on the rope. Dave
Gordon, See Dave Gordon's one wheel, tire grabbin picture in "Customer Rides" Thank
you for making such great mods for my 1997 Polaris "Super Sport." I
love beating up on Suzuki's, Honda 250Rs and the not-so-great 400EX. Sincerely, See Joey Bolens machine in "Customer Rides" To HPD, Thanks! To HPD, Greg & Cindy
