This starter has a much higher Torque rating than the Polaris original. The stock starter is rated at .6KW and ours is rated 1.0KW. Install the starter per factory specs.
HPD recommends that all of the #6 battery cables be replaced with #4 copper cable, with soldered copper ends.
HPD also recommends our High Output Battery (Part #PMB235) This battery has 235 Cold Cranking Amps and the stock battery has 120 Cold Cranking Amps.

Predator 460 Cams

11.68 mm lift - 262° Duration at .050 lift. They are designed for a wide power band peaking from 9,500 to 10,500 RPM, depending on cam timing and intake length. They have 6 different timing positions that are field adjustable. After the initial installation, you can retime these cams without the use of a degree wheel or indicator. These billet cams are built from special process case hardened steel, and will give excellent service life.
Cams require the use of HPD valve springs with thicker spring seats produced after 1-07, and HPD valve buckets.

Cam Degree Adaptor Kit

TRICK CAM DEGREE ADAPTOR
This tool allows you to degree cams or check timing without pulling the side cover. Engine can be run to check real ignition timing. It mounts to crank through the mag nut access hole, has a screw type labyrinth seal, and teflon ring to prevent excessive oil leakage when running engine. Great help in setting cam timing. Kit contains crankshaft adaptor, nut, and degree wheel with wire pointer.
Indicator, piston stop, and other tools necessary to degree cams are not included.

Valve Buckets

Absolutely necessary if using aftermarket cams. Heat treated, ground and lapped. Best buckets available!
