Oval Racing Suggestions for Chassis Adjustments

Push At Corner Entry
1. Increase rear stagger
2. Decrease cross weight
3. Move left front wheel out.
4. Increase caster.
5. Increase rear tire pressure, or move it out.
6. Decrease rear weight percentage.
7. Lower weight.

Push at Corner Exit
1. Increase rear stagger
2. Move right rear wheel out
3. Reduce cross weight
4. Stiffen rear of chassis
5. Move left rear wheel out
6. Use harder left rear tire compound
7. Move left front caster

Middle
1. Steering wheel feels lazy
1a. Use narrower right front wheel on same tire
2. If front steers aggressively making rear loose, Use wider wheel on right front

Loose At Corner Entry
1. Increase cross weight
2. Increase front stagger
3. Increase rear weight precentage
4. Decrease rear stagger
5. Decrease left side weight
6. Decrease left front caster
7. Raise center of gravity
8. Move right rear wheel in
9. Move left rear wheel in
10. Stiffen front of chassis

Loose at Corner Exit
1. Decrease right rear tire pressure
2. Increase cross weight
3. Decrease rear stagger
4. Increase rear weight percentage
5. Move right rear wheel in
6. Use softer left rear tire compound
7. Raise center of gravity

4 Wheel Drift
1. Decrease left side weight percentage
2. Decrease right front and right rear tire pressure
3. Move front and rear wheels in
4. Raise center of gravity
